Private therapy practice seeking licensed associate counselor
Are you a Licensed Associate Counselor who wants to work in a private practice setting, make your own schedule, build your practice, and gain your required supervision hours to work toward your LPC? I am seeking to hire a motivated LAC to join a successful and reputable private practice located in the heart of beautiful Old Town Scottsdale! This is a hybrid position- we are seeking a therapist who can commit to working in person at our office seeing clients 2-3 days per week, as well as see clients via telehealth remotely (make your own schedule). This is a 1099 contractor position, with a majority split going to the clinician. Pay is between $50-90 per hour.
- Flexibility- make your own schedule and determine your own hours. *Seeking a therapist who will commit to seeing a minimum of 15 clients per week
- We provide the client referrals, do ALL YOUR MARKETING, and take care of all of the business operation costs and processes
- Earn direct contact hours toward your board of behavioral health requirements, as well as includes the required clinical supervision hours needed for licensure
- Learn how to build & run a private practice! We provide training to support LAC’s in their goals of eventually owning their own practice once fully licensed.
- Regular pay schedule- no waiting for payments, therapists are paid regularly each month

Use of a furnished office, admin assistant, etc
- We pay for you to join Bloom Therapist Network to market yourself, attend trainings and networking events, and learn about the business of private practice
- Training in how to start a YOUR own practice someday- learn about taxes, marketing, networking, and everything you need to know to set you up for your future success
- We DON’T own your psychology today page, we allow therapists to contract at other practices, and we don’t discourage therapists from pursuing their own SPP’s or other ventures- in fact, we will help you! We WANT you to achieve your goals.
- Must Hold an active Licensed Associate Counselor license in AZ, in good standing. CANNOT HIRE CURRENT STUDENTS, SORRY. Recent grads are welcome if you have your LAC or LAC-T
- Completion of an accredited Masters degree program
- Previous experience (either practicum/internship or employment) in a mental health counseling setting
- Great communication skills
- A desire to learn and grow in your profession as a therapist
- Either previously completed, or open to completing, EMDR basic training
- General minimum of 15 clients per week (can be done on any days/times you would like)- also can take time off for vacation with enough notice to your supervisor and your clients
- Responsible, committed, motivated
Must have either completed or be willing to complete EMDR basic training within first 6 months of hire
