I offer EMDR therapy in Arizona (in-person and virtual), including focused work for trauma, loss, and relationship patterns that feel hard to break.

My clients describe me as

calm, grounded, and steady, especially during difficult conversations. They value that I’m both direct and compassionate, and that I help them go beyond just talking about their experiences by actively guiding them in processing trauma, understanding relationship patterns, and creating real, lasting change.

About me

Hi, I’m Brandon, an EMDR-trained therapist who blends mindfulness and psychodynamic insight to help you work through trauma, talk through what is on your mind, and perhaps be present with you as you come to realizations of your own.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. Whether we’re reprocessing the past with EMDR, slowing down with mindfulness, or exploring the deeper roots of your reactions, we move at your pace with no pressure. Just space to breathe, feel, and heal.

A big part of what brought me into this work is my own experience with grief and loss. I know how disorienting it can be to move through the world carrying something invisible but heavy. That understanding helps me meet people where they are, with presence, care, and a belief in what’s possible even after pain.

As a man in a field where most therapists are women, I want to name something important: if you’re a woman considering working with a male trauma therapist and feel unsure, I understand that. I’ve worked with many women who’ve experienced harm from men, and part of our work can include processing that in a safe space with a safe male presence.

Sometimes it can also be helpful to have a man help decode what men are really trying to say or feel, to make sense of past or present relationships. And for men looking for someone to understand them, I may have relevant experience for that as well. I work with women, men, and non-binary individuals and have seen meaningful transformation in clients from all walks of life. Therapy with me is about curiosity, not judgment. Working with you to uncover what’s holding you back so you can move forward.

Outside of the office, I’m someone who finds peace in nature and creativity. I enjoy hiking with my dog, travel photography, reading, writing, and finding quiet moments in beautiful places. I believe that healing doesn’t just happen in session, it unfolds in the ways we learn to reconnect with life. My goal is for you to have a place to express yourself without judgement, and I am honored to hold that space for you.
