Therapy approaches
My approach is authentic to who I am- warm, down to earth, and easy to talk to.I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that helps process past experiences and reduce emotional distress. I work with Spanish-speaking individuals and couples navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, and life transitions.

About me

Life can get messy, emotions can feel overwhelming, & sometimes we lose touch with what really matters- including ourselves. I know what this can feel like- in fact, I chose to change my career path in college after I went through therapy for my own mental health and realize how empowering and life changing therapy is! Whether you feel disconnected from yourself, you’re blindsided by a major life transition, dealing with the loss of a relationship, or feel stuck due to shame and fear- the important thing is that you already took the hardest step just by deciding to reach out for some support.

What lights me up as a therapist (and human) is helping YOU to feel seen, heard, supported and empowered. You can usually find me with my “therapy sidekick” Goldendoodle pup, and outside of working, I’m probably trying the newest foodie spot in my town or getting creative with crafts. I’m bilingual, so I also am able to work with Spanish speaking clients.

Therapy Style:
My goal as a therapist is to help you focus on self-love, self-discovery and finally creating a real routine for wellness that you can follow through with. In our sessions, we spend time exploring the real root of what you’ve been struggling with through trauma therapy- then we work on building the skills that you need so you can start overcoming barriers and accomplishing your goals. My approach is authentic to who I am- warm, down to earth, and easy to talk to. Therapy shouldn’t feel confusing or like you’re going to the doctor- sessions with me feel like talking with a safe & supportive friend, who just so happens to also be unbiased and have a lot of great clinical knowledge to share with you!

Scheduling:
I’m a telehealth therapist- so that you can meet with me from the comfort of your own home! I offer afternoon & evening sessions, as well as some weekends.
